Copperworks Craft Malt Month 2026 American Single Malt Whiskey

Copperworks Craft Malt Month 2026 American Single Malt Whiskey is distilled from Baronesse barley, known for its exceptional quality and rich, malty character. This barley was grown at Joseph’s Grainery in Colfax and malted by LINC Malt in Spokane. You may remember tasting whiskey crafted from this barley in our gold-medal-winning first Farmsmith release. It’s a barley that continues to entice us with its unique and delicious flavor. This expression of Baronesse (Single Cask No. 488) was matured in a previously used rye whiskey cask for 5 years and 9 months before we bottled it at its natural cask strength of 63.2% ABV. This is the first time we’ve released a whiskey matured in a rye whiskey cask.

For this release, Copperworks is proudly donating $10 for every bottle sold to the guild to support their mission of promoting and sustaining the tradition of craft malting in North America.
